We will be conducting field research activities this summer under a strict COVID-19 mitigation plan, which technicians must be willing to follow while working in the field and residing in project housing on lieu time. Original Post: Do YOU like to climb mountains and (by chance) have experience recreating off-trail in Glacier National Park? Have a background in wildlife ecology or an appreciation for wildlife too?

Taking place primarily in Glacier National Park (Montana USA), our research is investigating grizzly bear use of army cutworm moth aggregations at select high-elevation talus slopes across the study area. We’re looking for adventurous souls who 1) relish living/working in the mountains, 2) are capable of safely working in proximity to grizzly bears, and 3) would enjoy contributing their physical (and more importantly) mental strength to this graduate research effort. For their exertion, we will pay, house, and feed technicians.

With great effort on this project comes greater reward. The position requires extensive effort. In return, technicians will be provided with a memorable experience they won’t soon forget.
